Description
Handmade Face Cover with MNEMEE from Mykonos. It is made of the same type of fabric that was used by the women of Mykonos and the rest of the Cyclades for their dresses or skirts but also for the jackets of their clothes, in the later era of King Otto (around 1920). These types of fabrics came to Greece from merchants and were used by women to make clothes that belong to the Western-Civil type of them. The fabrics they used were silk and taffeta in dark earth colors. Gold-brown was chosen as the most characteristic color.

MNEMEE Face Covers
All face covers are inspired by the tradition and culture of Greece. They are made of fabrics and traditional headscarves, which are the basis of Greek traditional cloths (cotton, silk, brocade, etc.). The baseline of their construction is the diversity of traditional costumes as it is reflected by the differentiation of designs in each type of mask.
