Handmade Face Cover with MNEMEE from Andros. It is made of the same type of fabric that the women of Andros used in dresses or type of Manteau called “doulamas” in their formal or bridal costume. It is also a fabric that we find in other women’s clothing of the Cyclades of this type of clothing around the 18th century. The colors they used in their clothes were light colored silk or brocade with delicate flowers samples of finesse and luxury. The ivory color with floral decoration was chosen as the most characteristic.

MNEMEE Face Covers
All face covers are inspired by the tradition and culture of Greece. They are made of fabrics and traditional headscarves, which are the basis of Greek traditional cloths (cotton, silk, brocade, etc.). The baseline of their construction is the diversity of traditional costumes as it is reflected by the differentiation of designs in each type of mask.
